MacBook Pro 5,5 Logic Board Compatibility

I have a 2009 Macbook Pro 5,5 A1278.

The RAM slots on the logic board have gone bad and I am considering attempting to replace the logic board.

Does anyone know if any other logic boards might be compatible with this model?

Would ANY A1278 logic board fit?

If yes, that would make the repair a lot more worthwhile as I could be significantly upgrading the processor.

Here's the series of your system: MacBookPro5,5. Sadly there is only two to pick from here. Apple tends to move things about between the series so I wouldn't recommend trying anything else.
