My Dell has no OS. What is my best option?

I bought my Dell off of someone and did not know there was no operating system. If anyone has any suggestions to how I can replace or boot without one please let me know.

I think you should go with windows 7 operating system. because it is easy to use and very good operating system. I am using it since 4 Years.
