3 Why does my battery fall out?
Spring may be broken or the latch that connects the clip to the camera may be chipped.

If the camera has sustained damage so that the battery will no longer stay in place, then your camera is not longer weather-proof and the latch will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, accidental damage isn't normally covered under warranty so the information you will need to replace the latch can be found in the replacement guide.
