no signal from HDMI or AV cord!

All right, all of a sudden I turned my ps3 on after having it hooked up to HDMI for about a month. The tv is saying no signal. It's a new cable so I tried hooking it up to one of the other ports on the tv. Then I tried the old Video Reset. Then I dug up my AV cord figuring I would try it that way, resolution be d**ned! So, what do you know, same thing no signal. Video reset again still nothing. I called several places and they said it was anything from a bad chip 59 bucks to 79 bucks, to a motherboard which was so expensive I could buy a new one for not much more. Thing is I'm poor. Please help.
