Grey screen after login Win 7, after installing XFX HD 7850

Hello fellows!

I just bought a XFX HD 7850 2GB (bricked) and I'm cant find the problem. I've bought knowing the problem, hoping to fix it.

I put the card in and started the computer, and it goes well into windows (seven) and I installed the drivers via catalyst. Then it asks to restart the computer and after that it got with artifacts in the login screen and after i'm logged in the screen turn grey with vertical lines. What could it be? Thanks in advance!

This could possibly be due to the video card being overheated in the past. Every card I have seen that was artifacting was caused from poor solder joints between the GPU and PCB. I have had relatively good luck with baking video cards in an oven with the heat sink removed, but doing this is at your own risk. I can send a link to a guide covering this if you're interested.
