Replaced new screen now earpiece speaker is distorted

I replaced a iPhone 5s screen and everything went smoothly, had no issues dismantling or putting it back together.

However, when I tested everything the only problem I am having is that on medium setting the earpiece speaker sounds extremely distorted during calls. It sounds fine if I take the screen off with everything still connected but as soon as its back on distorted again. The speaker also sounds normal and not faint either at the low volume settings up to and including the 3rd bar of settings. Anything above that it sounds distorted suggesting that for some reason the volume is extra loud now perhaps.

Have taken the earpiece speaker, sensor and front facing camera off the front panel and re installed checking connections. Have also updated the phone and done a full restore and have had no luck thus far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's going faulty when screen is fully pressed down it could be the flex cable on the front camera /prix sensor that's damaged as it give the speaker its power
