Help! Battery Indicator gets stuck randomly

hello ifixit users, got a big problem that keeps pestering me.

thats the computer i am having the issue with. Simply put randomly my computer freezes the battery status. actually right now, its been stuck at 93% for some time and if i plug it in it, my battery will charge but my status will remain the same. If i check the mAh, it always remains the same when it gets stuck.

i have pulled the computers battery and pressed the power for over 5 seconds, multiple times, and still no fix. smc?

only fix is a shut down and reboot. What can i do to put this annoying bug to rest?
