Thanx it is well connected, but I'll double check , so getting a better cable mean buying it on Apple store ?

Apple Store doesn't sell parts for repairing your device. iFixit sells quality repair parts but you are paying a little extra for them. Other users may be able to chime in with other options.

Maybe it's a defective replacement power/volume ribbon cable or it was damaged during installation. They are very delicate. You may want to try a higher quality cable as the cheaper ones don't seem to work with the auto lock function (as has been my experience).

I may add that you have to be sure that the new Power-Mute-Volume cable that you installed is properly seated and connected to the board, and the big interconnect cable (the one that looks like the display/LCD cable) is also properly seated.

All the problems you are referring seem to be due to a defective Power-Mute-Volume cable like Brian says.
