iBook G3 won't boot, can't install a system

Hello,

I got an old iBook G3 model A1007 900 MHz recently, but I never managed to make it works. I tried to instal an OS on it but it won't let me do it.. When I turn it on, plugged or not, the iBook make the noise of the start then a black screen appears and shows me a little icon with a "?" in the middle of the screen.

I have no idea how to reinstall something on it as nothing is working.

I can send you screenshot if needed.

Thanks alot

The question mark means that it can't find a valid operating system. First do you know if it has a hard drive? Are you trying to install from the original system installation disk or something else (please tell us what you are trying to use.
