Scrap or proceed? Missing components from mainboard.

I was cleaning this mini 3 from water damage and realized after it was all cleaned up that two of these super tiny components (whatever they are) were missing. It didnt power up or do anything and its worth mentioning that the battety showed no signs of water damage. However Im sure it could have still beeb shorted?

Now I may have very well knocked off these components when removing the cpu cover for cleaning (it needed it! Cpu area had lots).

Question: what were these components and is it worth it to order a battery and see if it comes to life? I feel its too much of a gamble to spend on a battery... but it is a mini 3...
