MacBook Won't boot up

Start up shows aplle icon and spinning wheel, but won't boot up

Try starting up from your system installation disk. Insert disk and hit the start, hold down the "C" key to get it to book from the optical drive. Go to the second screen. the pull down menu will give you Utilities. Go to Disk Utility and see if you can repair your hard drive.
