Please give us a model number. Is the pedal in the "up" position on down? Can it be moved by hand or is it frozen?

Here's the manual on it but I'm going to have to study it a while to able to guess what might be wrong. First bet would be the Throttle cable. Check for a blockage of the peddle, something may have lodged behind the peddle preventing it from going down.

Mr. Mayer,

Thank you so much for answering my e-mail. It is Models B809H R809K(according to my manual). The pedal will not depress what little it will go down only allows the mower to go a crawl. the pedal is in the up position. the pedal is real stiff and will not depress.

Thank you

Is the clutch in highest speed? I know that my mower's gas peddle stays against the floor if it is in slowest gear.
