What adhesive to use on the flex cable on home button

This is the second time movie my home button and flex cable part to another screen and the adhesive has worn out. What kind of adhesive can I use to glue it on to the new screen? -iphone 5

I use a small amount of the red backed gorilla tape, just a small amount in each corner of the rubber.
