water damaged, can see the logo but cant use the home button

hello to all,

first msg here...

my phone fell to the bathroom, i tried to dry it as best as i can, it actually work for two days! afterwards it shut down and when i turned it on i saw the samsung logo and screen froze. i couldn't do a hard reset because the main home button suddenly doesn't work (not sure i would help anyway).

any idea?

p.s

when i went to a repair shop, they examined the phone and told me that the water probably damaged my motherboard and it will be expensive and pointless to try to repair it.
