iPhone 5c keeps searching for network?

I recently replaced my battery and damaged my screen in the process. So I purchased a new screen to fix the issue and it did but now my Iphone will not connect to At&t. It constantly say searching... it the top left corner even when I remove the sim card.

Things I have tried:

  1. Restarting phone by powering off with lock button
  2. Restarting Phone powering off holding lock and home
  3. Reset network settings
  4. Automatically change the date (wifi) so its not set to 1970
  5. Manually change the date
  6. Take out sim card and put it back in
  7. Restore phone to a previous backup

I am on 7.0.4 and I want to stay on 7 at least I really need to fix this.

Here is a picture of what I think is the cellular antenna in my phone can someone confirm this or tell me what to do?

Anything guys?

Yes, it could be. You've tried everything already that I would suggest.

The antenna connection is at the bottom left of the motherboard.

by

could it be just an easy reconnect or do i need a new one?

by

It is a small round antenna connection and should just reconnect if it has come adrift

by

Could you refer me to a vid on how to do this or some instruction?

Thanks

It's normally one of 4 things

: time and date settings

: antenna

: SIM card reader

:baseband chip

You've tried most of the above and I agree your antenna connection looks fine so check your SIM card reader making sure when you insert the sim tray the contacts break and when it's ejected they reconnect also inspect the 6 pins are not bent or broken and if that checks out Remove your SIM card if the phone doesn't say no SIM card I would suggest that it's not your SIM card reader but your baseband chip. A repair/replacement is possible there are YouTube videos showing the process. Not that I'd advise doing it yourself save yourself more frustration and pay for it should be reasonable I had a quote for $85Au Hope I've helped some good luck.

Also check your settings :General, About. if you don't see your IMEI and also you will have no Modem Firmware numbers. it's your baseband chip.

Probably baseband, known issue with 5C. Take it to Apple and they will replace it for reasonable price.

Try

- Disconnecting the screen

- Reconnecting the battery

- Connecting to WiFi

- Checking time date date is trying to change automatically

- Restart the phone with the sim card in

I have this problem now and again
