Computer plays videos very slow
My computer s playing videos very slow, is there anything i can do without having to take it in and spend a bunch of money. Also to load anything takes a while.

We need more info. What size drive, how much capacity have you used on the HDD? How much RAM do you have? what version of Flash Player do you have. Every time there is a major OS software update from Apple you have to make sure you check which version of flash player you have because Apple usually does notinclude the latest versions. Please provide this info so we can diagnose further.

If your Hard Drive
has little or no free (empty) space your computer will slow. You should leave 10-20% of the drive empty for swap and temporary files.
On an 80GB drive it that be 8-16GB free. On a 10GB drive 1 to 2GB.

IF? there's no way you can tell what it is till the PO offers more details. So IF I worded my questions differently, they would be the same as your "RESPONSE"!!

Are the videos online, DVDs or other?
What are you loading? Large (GB worth) files do take time to transfer.
