The Apple store opened it up and looked, he said that the logic board needs to be replaced because the screws? Are thearded and that Apple no longer repairs or even has these parts. thk you for replying.

yer,maybe. but my mac won't turn on the screen stays dark no on sound and then the fan run loudly. some thing needs to be replaced. i would like to keep this one runing , it dose things the new ones don't burn CD,DVDs and play them.
