Remove LCD for glass only repair?

Which method is better for a glass only repair.

Try and remove the LCD and then clamp it down on my heat plate and use the wire to split.

or

Same process as the previous samsungs, remove the glass with the LCD in the frame.

1st method - concerned about breaking the lcd

2nd method - concerned about LOCA seeping into the logic board behind.

don't us the glass only replacement, its a hack repair and it mostly fail. look at the before and after photos of doing glass only here.

Can't see how it would be a hack repair, I've done many galaxy phones and always checked with the customers after a period of time without complaint.

And I can't see how dust would get in when loca glue is used anyway?

And the few s5 which I have done have been fine, 100% so far?

Nick what are you talking about? It's a hack repair if you don't use LOCA or do a half a** job. Speak for yourself on this one. If you have trouble or can't complete it 100% ,don't do it but surely don't blame the tools. When we do it at RockIT Repairs the phone looks like it was repaired at the factory. Yes definitely remove the lcd for a galaxy s5 screen replacement service.
