How to clean glue off Logic Board LED Connection?

Hi folks,

I wanted to stick the fallen rubber foot of my Macbook Pro with glue but unfortunately the glue leaked in and affected my LED Display connection.

I realised it in 2-3 minutes after seeing my screen flicker. I immediately cleaned the glue off the connection with microfiber cloth.

The flickering seems to go away or at least way better than the beginning but when I move the laptop i happens sometimes. I'm sure there's some remnants of glue between the pins and it's causing the problem.

Do you guys have a recommendation how to clean it completely? would rubbing alcohol with a soft tooth-brush work?

Looks like the Leim is supposed to be water soluble. You may be in for a bit of a mess. I'd try a clean it up with a bit of heat from a hair dryer to soften it, then some sterile water followed by high grade of isopropyl alcohol to disperse the water.

Thank you very much for the reply. I was afraid to use water so I used isopropyl alcohol with a very fine & soft toothbrush. It works without a problem.

It was one of the dumbest things I've ever made in my life to use wood glue to stick the rubber foot.

It's great to see people are trying to help even for such a stupid problem.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate your help.
