Antenna screw head broke

I was tighteninh up the screw wich holds that little wi-fi antena and the battery connector in place on my iphone 4 and i overdid it i guess, so the head broke off. What could i do and what kind of problems it my cause if i just connect the battery without that screw.

Hi, it's not the WiFi antenna, it's a grounding pin. I'd just leave it out and connect the battery up. I have fixed lots that have already had screens fitted to them and this pin was missing.

Leave what out ? that litle thing that covers the wire connection? what does it do and what happns if i leave it out ?

Hi, sorry I thought you was talking about the small grounding pin connected to the battery connection.

The bracket you've broken the screw on is to stop the WiFi antenna popping off and should work fine without it.

my screw head broke off also - will the phone continue to work without the screw holding the clip down??? seems fine so far,,, phone powers on and wyfi is working
