I bought a seagate SSHD for my iMac. Installation was pretty easy until the last steep. The sensor cable is a square, 2 hole female plug but the seagate has a rectangular receptor with 4 pins. No way to connect the two. Is there an adaptor or should I return this SSHD for something else?

Don't panic!
Ideally, you should use the same manufacture's drive your system has WD for a WD, Seagate for a Seagate etc...
If you want to stick with the Seagate drive you'll need to swap out the sensor cable harness. In this case you'll need the Apple P/N: 922-9216.
