Damaged head of internal philips/Hex-T screw near to fan.

Hi, while replacing my Macbook pro mid 2012 dvd drive as SSD, I tampered one of screw as a result of which I can not open it. I also don't know exactly what type of screw it is. Please suggest what could be the best way to open it. I am attaching the pic for reference

Hey Aasawa! What size MacBook? Did you follow one of our guides? Which one? The photo is a little too blurry to tell what the screw was, but maybe we can find an equivalent photo in a guide.

Options

Will a small flat blade driver fit? I use those for the 5-point ones. You might try a few to find one that matches tightly. If it is truly hollowed out, a reverse drill bit might help, if you can find a small one.

Agree that a better photo would help immensely.

Depending on the space and how well you want to clean up (or keep a hoover next to it) use a dremel to cut a slit in the screw and use a flat blade
