Screen/digitizer/LCD replaced Digitizer and home button aren't working

I replaced the glass and digitizer on an ipad mini. Upon removing the LCD it cracked so it was replaced as well. No that everything is reassembled (not glued) the home button and the digitizer aren't registering. All contact prongs are in place and check out. I'm about to replace it with the only glass/digitizer to double check logic board function but has anybody had this issue before?

Installed old/cracked screen/digitizer and everything functions. Deduced that the new digitizer isn't functioning properly.

Answer this question I have this problem too

This is going to be damage to the digitizer fpc socket. Pull the digitizer gently out of the socket. Look in the socket. If you see any gold pins missing, that is the culprit. It is extremely common.

It can be replaced as a mail in board-level repair
