iPhone 5s Screens all faulty

Has anybody got a good supplier in the UK for iPhone 5s screens, iv'e had to return about 10 from amazon for screen coming away from the frame and marks between the layers.

Let alone the fact nearly ever screen has a dead pixel.

Iv'e bought several from ebay aswell which all suck.

I was paying around £25-£30 for a screen which in my eyes isn't budget screesn and they suck.

PLEASE HELP!!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey PracticalRepair,

If you're looking for a digitizer(I'd assume this is what you mean by "screens") with good quality and no scratches, you're going to have to pay a hefty price. For the best quality digitizers I'd recommend getting it from ifixit here. Here are a bit cheaper ones but they are also high quality digitizers and are in mint condition:

-All of these links have high quality digitizers that you may need.

-Don't be surprised if you received faulty or partially damaged digitizers from eBay.

-Hope this helps.

I'd love to know why you think them quality would be any better then suppliers on eBay

by

Suppliers on eBay are from people(might mean they have opened it and used it) and the digitizers aren't always in the best quality. eBay suppliers may give digitizers with cheap quality such as plastic. Or they may give good quality digitizers but with faulty or partially damaged digitizers. See its better to get them from a corporate company or stores because they are professionally manufactured and are almost always guaranteed to be in mint condition.

lol... you're assuming everybody on eBay is a private user and not a business. I'm yet to find a private user who casually stocks LCDs on the side, they're all businesses who buy the LCDs in bulk from the manufacturer. At the end of the day every single link you posted is a 3rd party LCD and I seriously doubt they manufacture the screens themselves, they will probably refurbish them or buy good quality screens from the exact same manufacturer suppliers on eBay get them from. Surely if it's just people seperating their phone then you're going to get an OEM LCD? and not sure what you mean by digitizer.. do you mean the front glass? I have bought many screens from suppliers on eBay with zero problems, no dead pixels etc. I can vouch for eBay screens not only because I know where they come from but I know how they're made. Even if the store you link refurbishes LCD I doubt they have the equipment to refurbish them to as close as factory as possible. eBay suppliers get their screens from China as do the site you linked

I've never said that all of the eBay suppliers are private users. If you looked at the last link I posted, this same exact company sells on Amazon right here. They also manufacture it on their own. The other links I posted are from trusted manufacturers whereas eBay there are many hardships in finding a good quality digitizer especially if they are the same ones being distributed but from multiple resellers who half of them sell them faulty as this user(whose asking the question) had experienced. If you say that they may have bought it from the same manufacturer suppliers, I don't think ifixit does that. Repairs Universe is a legit source as well and they redistribute the products from a separate manufactures who don't use cheap materials. I'm not saying eBay is a bad source but the manufacturers aren't always trustworthy.

How do you know they manufacture the screens? If you buy cheap screens... you get cheap quality. Buy from a reputable supplier on eBay and you're going to get good results. Sure, there's always going to be a bad LCD in a bunch, look at the most recent review of the Amazon link you posted. What about all the other parts they sell, do they manufacture them?
