Wifi not working after digitizer and antenna replacement

So a customer recently had me fit both the power + vol flex, and WiFi/BT antenna to his device and close it all up (he tried a digitizer replacement and obviously damaged both during removal).

So I have gone ahead and replaced both flexes, but for some strange reason the device cannot detect any wireless networks and no Wifi icon displays. It will, however, detect and connect to Bluetooth devices!?

How can it work fine with BT and not WiFi when it is the same antenna?

I have replaced the antenna with one from my own stock and the same things happens.

I have also hard reset and updated the software via iTunes, but still nothing. It shows no activity at all during the setup (normally a spinner shows when scanning for networks).

I have seen other reports about making sure the board is seated correctly to the frame along with the copper film underneath the board - which I have done. I have also removed the EMI and re-seated the actual broadcom chip.

Any ideas as to what might be wrong here? I have ordered another bunch of antennas in the hope that both were bad.....even though BT works on it.

Others have noted that the copper strip needs to be in place on the underneath of the logic board.
