Solder melting and burning around my noise filter?

Frigidaire gallery microwave 3 years old. Had no problems til one day it just stopped and smelled strongly of burnt electrical. Fuse didn't blow and is good. I could clearly see that the circuit board solder at the base of the noise filter had all solder melted from one of its connectors, breaking contact. I re soldered and microwave worked and heated for about a minute. Solder melted again.... any ideas on where to look?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Scott, did you have any success resolving this? I have a FGMV174KFC microwave and have had the same problem with the noise filter coil leads apparently overheating and melting the solder on the noise filter board. The unit was almost 3 years old and out of warranty. It sounds like this may be a design fault. If so, a recall (or class action) may be appropriate. The noise filter board part number is FPWBFA437WRKZ. Also, I notice that a substitute part number is FPWBFA495WRKZ.

I've finding several similar reports online of overheating noise suppression coil contacts on noise filter boards manufactured by DPC, as these are. Some even result in fire. Sounds like serious class action material to me.

Exact same issue. 3 year mark, the ovens stopped working completely. Fuse was fine but the noise filter coil had burned and desoldered. I soldered it and it powered up for a while but then burned out again. Is it worth replacing this piece (part # 5304492543) or, like a blown fuse, is this just a symptom of some other deeper issue with the oven?
