I have a Samsung 61" DLP TV about 6yrs old. Numerous white dot or pixels on screen. Can it be repaired?

Martin, this is usually caused by a bad DLP switch. Depending on your model, it could be the DLP board or the IC itself that can be replaced. If you give us your model number, we might be able to help you out further, but yes it can be fixed.
