Menu button doesn't work
The menu button does not work on my ipod classic. All the other buttons seem to be fine. And it works fine when I use it through my car stereo.

Heidi, just to clarify , the menu button "works fine when I use it through my car stereo."? All the other click wheel functions work? Have you checked the diagnostic menu to test the clickwheel?

No, the button doesn't work, but the function works when I have it plugged in as in I can go back from one menu to the next or one song/artist/playlist to the previous using the car's functions, but the button on the ipod never works. Sorry for the confusion.

Sounds like a bad click wheel,or the actual button on the logic board not working. Check the diagnostic menu and see if you can go through the options. check on here for instructions about the diagnostic menu.
