powerbutton is whitout standby function

hello, in my ipad 4 were the volume buttons without function. In Flex cable for this I noticed a little korrusion and not quite continuous contact. I have cleaned the contacts and the plug and built everything back together. The sound volume buttons and The mute button also work again

But now makes The powerbutton problems. At a long press the off - message comes, but at a Short press is not a standby mode more . what can this be? it is really only a 1-pole pushbutton ? Ort not?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I had a similar problem. After completely transplanting all components from my iPad 4 to a new back shell (damaged in a fall), I had all functions working in the new shell except lock/sleep/wake function of the power button. Even as you said, a long press of the power button did make the power turn off and I could also do a soft reset by pressing both the power and home buttons.

After some troubleshooting, I found that the top portion of the connector for the headphone jack assembly where it attaches to the logic board was not properly seated. There's a white line printed on the cable as a guide so you know when you have it inserted all the way and this clearly wasn't, upon inspection. I released the ZIF clips for both top and bottom halves of this connector and then re-seated the connector again. This time the white lines lined up parallel and flush with the left edge of the socket and after locking down the connector, I put the black electrical tape over this connector to help keep it in place. This fixed the sleep / wake / lock function of the power button.
