replaced battery, now 'connect to iTunes' & home &power gone
I've taken it apart, and put it back together many times, sometimes I'll get the phone working, but still not have a responsive home & power button

First check the chips underneath the battery connector, because they are responsible for the Power- and Homebutton. If one of the very small chips is brocken, the phone is useless.
