I have a Samsung android 2nd generation and barly a yr old. It fell once in water, put it rice, then it worked. Fell a 2nd time in my soup...lol, instantly put in rice again but ever sense that 2nd time it has been working funny. My charger wouldn't work once, bought a new one worked. now it's doing the exactly same thing, gggrrrrr....so should I buy a new charger or get a new battery?

consvers101, first off the rice should be in your soup. Using rice as a dessicant does do absolutely nothing. It is a waste of perfectly good food:-). Second you want to stop using your device. Remove the battery. Disassemble the phone and clean everything with high grade (90%+) isopropyl alcohol. Then replace the battery reassemble the phone and re-evaluate for further damage. Water damage is the most difficult to diagnose/repair since virtually any part can have failed. Hope this helps, good luck.
