replaced a couple of parts and my iPod is acting wierd.

I recently bought a new back piece , battery and headphone/ hold button , and after charging it , i tried to upload all the songs on itunes to the iPod , a message appears saying the files cant be found . then another message shows up saying the disk isnt writable . i upgraded it to 1.3 software and it still does it . dont know what to do . please help !!
