The iPhone has evolved throughout years, but how about a long persisting problem? Home Button failure.
I just wonder did Apple put any effort in improving the durability of the Home Button.
Does any one have an idea? I'm not a technical guy, so I would like to ask if anyone has a better understanding with the latest Home Button design.

Yes, Apple did make improvements to the button from what they had in the 5s model for both the iPhone 6 & 6 plus.
It's only under use will we see if the effort paid off. BTW I've got an iPhone 6 and not seeing any problems with the new button design.

It's not a long persisting problem, it practically got solved since iPhone 5.
Apple used a bigger and more durable dome switch, improved metal dome sealing.
