LCD Glass falling off. Best gluing option?

I replaced the front glass on my Macbook Pro, but the glue has not done a very good job. On occasion, when I close, then open the laptop, the glass drops off the front of the LCD. The display is fine, but the glass needs new glue to stay in place longer than an hour. What's the best adhesive option?

Lets start off by telling us which model your MBP is. Give us the last four digits of your serial number so we can properly identify your computer and its hardware.

Most of these models have adhesive strip kits for under $5.00. Also check that you removed the metal plate around the iSight camera as the new glass usually have one built in. It has two metal pins protruding from it.

scottlovejoyjr, not sure which model your MBP is but I’d remove the glass, clean it, and then replace the adhesive strips with new ones.
