My iPhone 4s is not charging when powered on?

I replaced the battery and the dock connector but my iphone still won't charge when power on or connected to a computer.

It DOES:

  • Charge when powered off
  • Connect to ihome speakers to play music

It WON'T:

  • Charge when powered on
  • Sync or connect to a computer

I REPLACED:

  • battery
  • dock connector

If you have any suggestions please let me know!

You can try looking for any problems with the chips, especially around the U5, Q4 and Q3 chips.

These are the chips that regulate the power of the iPhone.

Seen this before a few times on iPhones never heard of anyone fixing the issue but it's definitely a board problem
