touch screen and home button not working! Help!

today i brought my iPad mini into repairs not completely sure if it will be definitely fixed. so thats why I'm here I'm wondering if they replace the screen will they put in a new digitilizer cable? and if so will that make the home button and the touch screen start working again? thanks for all help!

Most likely they will replace the screen and home button ic.

The one you bought was most likely faulty or damaged

No it isn't getting fixed at an Apple Store its at one of those stall things in shopping malls

Out of all the hundreds of repairs iv done I have never had to restore a phone to get it to function after a repair
