Im fixing an iPhone 5c for a friend of mine. I bought a new screen put it in it worked fine for a few days. Now it's not working and it has thick vertical green lines running down it. I'm not sure what's wrong.

Sounds like the screen is of poor quality. Get another one from a reputable seller. You sure the friend didn't drop it again?

I've tried cleaning the ports. Unplugging and plugging it back in. Restarting it.
