Can I do a straight LCD swap?

I have a A1211 and want to remove the screen and re-install same on my A1226. Is this a compatible swap to attempt?

Just make sure that the magnet that activate the sleep function when closing the display is located to the same side than your original display otherwise you'll lose that function.
