Black lines of pixels on an LG 55LM4700 LED TV?

I have an LG 55LM4700 55" 1080p 120Hz Cinema 3D Edge LED TV. My TV found itself the victim of an attack by a solid wood toy hurtling through the air (kids, sigh). Now, there is a vertical band of black pixels (5 inches across) as well as a horizontal band of black pixels (7 inches across) that intersect where the toy hit the TV.

In addition, the pixels that do work get worse and worse (more fuzzy) as time passes. Is this repairable? What will it cost me if I d.i.y. the labor myself?

Eddie, sounds like a broken LCD. It will cost more to purchase a new panel (if you can even find one) than to replace the TV. Sorry, can't fix it.

Yep, the clear plastic is not broken but the lcd panel under it is.
