Touch Not Working After Screen Replacement

Hey guys,

I have repaired many iPhones and iPads over the years (20-30) and they've all went flawless. This phone I'm repairing for a friend will not recognize any touch with the new screen or the old screen though the screens touch works fine on other phones. I've looked at the pins very carefully and none are damaged on the screens ribbon cable or on the logic board. I attempted to re-flow the touch IC with no luck. I tried a restore also. Any ideas?

Thank you,

Jack Vaughn

If touch was working before repair and now it's not with old screen and new then you have damaged the motherboard in some way.. I would give to someone with motherboard knowledge email jessabethany@gmail.com
