How do I fix my iPhone 3's dim screen?

Alright, first, I have a iPhone 3 that has a really dim screen. You have to go under a light to even see the screen. This problem has been annoying me for awhile now. I have already taken it apart several times, watched several videos, and I don't want to saughter a new coil on it, because i don't want to buy one or anything. How do i fox it without replacing anything?

Connor, you can not fix a backlight without replacing anything. It does not work that way.
