Jack,

Your question is a little unclear but let me get this straight: only one piston on a two cylinder motor is moving?

Let's say you know this because you took out the spark plugs and watched while the engine turned over.

If you are bumping the starter to crank the engine and one piston is not moving, you likely have a broken connecting rod or you split the top of the piston.

Either way, you will need a new piston or rod, and not a new motor.

Good luck and let us know.
