Need help identifying component.

Hi, i have recently got hold of a late 2011 Macbook Pro but id doesn't appear to turn on. I have found on the board that a component was damaged. Can anyone please identify the circled component?

Sam Taylor, that is reference designator C6603 which is a 100UF 6.3 V 20% Tantalum capacitor in a AL1 case. this capacitor is part of your audio speaker amp circuity, should not have anything to do with starting up

disconnect the top case ribbon cable and the battery, connect the charger to the MBP and check if you get 3.42 volts on one of the two power pads. Do you have a steady green light on the magsafe light ?
