Where is the part/chip?
if i was to ope up the kindle fire which part/chip would it be that allows u to see whats on the screen?

jameyca, there is not a single IC (part/chip) that is responsible for the display. There is a whole circuitry with many parts that does it. So, no you will not find it. It might help if you tell use what it is that you are looking for. Describe your symptoms etc.
