spilled wine in my MacBook and my screen turn black.

hi i have the same problem i spilled wine in my macbook and my screen turn black. after i bought a new screen i replace it and still black, i can see the screen but it's very dark,bearly see anything. I connected with DVI to my TV and the macbook works perfect. Why i don't have bright screen on my macbook? what else i have to replace ?? thanks.

could be a short on your logic board etc. What have you checked so far? What is your computers serial number? With that we could find out exactly what hardware you have.

The backlight fuse is immediately at the left of the LVDS connector on the top of the logic board for the A1342 2.26ghz and a little lower on the 2,4ghz model, 0402 fuse, brown with a white round circle on it. I'd check the continuity of that chip first step.

I change the screen and the LVDS connector cable and still the same. My serial number is W80107V68PW.

this is the 2,26ghz model so the backlight fuse is near the LVDS socket at the left side.

Yup, for logic board purposes this comes back as A1342 EMC2350

josh, check your backlight fuse for continuity. If it has continuity, check for power. Place the negative probe on ground and the positive on the fuse end (careful not to shorten out any other component). Let us know what you find.
