It sounds like those issues are all software related. Try to do a backup / restore through iTunes and see if that helps. If your phone is jailbroken sometimes running too many Cydia tweaks will slow it down to a crawl.

Try paying the same price for a board if you can find one they just don't sell them..
Try a backup and then restore as mentioned above
