S5 stuck on charging battery icon

I did a Galaxy S5 glass/lcd repair and now the device won't turn on. When the S5 is plugged into a charger the charging battery icon appears and fills up with the green stuff, but the phone will not turn on. I tried to get to the boot menu by holding down the power button and down volume button, but I still get nothing. I also tried to get to the custom download page by holding down the volume button and home button then plugging into a usb laptop outlet and I still get nothing. I have lots of experience fixing phones and this is not my first S5 repair. I have done plenty and have never run into this problem. Nothing looks damaged. Has any other techs out there run into this problem and know a fix it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Try switching the power button connector. It is located under the long piece on the back of the S5 in the upper left corner.
