How do I replace the touch sensors underneath the glass screen?

My phone isn't responding at all to any touch. A month or so ago I go some sweat in the case, and had to leave it in rice for 3 days before it worked. I got a few rain drops on it yesterday and left it in rice overnight after the touch sensitivity stopped working completely. Now it's on and off....I'll be in the middle of a text and it will just stop responding to touch. I know that there are sensors underneath the screen that can be replaced, and I can probably figure it out, but can someone give me an idea of what tools I'd need, and possibly steps to do so? Thanks!
