Why does my phone close out of applications?

When I am on the internet the browser will close and I will be taken back to my home screen. This also happens when I am using other applications. I get sent back to my home screen when I use the camera and my games.

  • First restart the phone by turning the phone off and removing the battery. Refer to the Battery removal guide for assistance. After the battery is removed, put it back in and turn the phone back on.
  • You can also do a factory data reset which can be performed to restore the phone to the state it was when it was opened out of the box. Therefore all of the information stored on the phone will be gone. Locate the app menu from the home screen and then click settings. In the settings menu, press privacy and unselect the automatic restore. Next press factory data reset and then reset phone. The factory data reset should take up to three minutes to be completed.
