White screen with lines after touching the Silentbutton cable

Hi there,

I had to change my headphonejack. Everything went fine. I could use my headphones again. After a while the silent switch didn't lock right in place. I opened the back and replaced the cable (just touched it with a repair tool) after that the silent switch worked but the screen showed white with many moving lines.

I had this befor and the only solution was to replace the display.

Why is that? I didn't touch the display or the display cables itself?

Answer this question I have this problem too

I would try disconnecting the battery and then disconnecting and reconnecting the display and digitizer connections to the motherboard. Then reconnect the battery again and power on the phone. Also inspect the digitizer and display cables and check to see if they have any damage and are connected properly to the motherboard. Hope this helps.
